  Who are you?

Just curious about you all. Thought I' attempt to learn a little bit about you all...if your willing. I won't get to personal because I'm a pretty private person too. So just do me the honor of answering these basic questions....

1. How long have you been working online?
2. Is this your full time job or do you work out in the "real world" too?
3. Where are you from?
4. How old are you (or atleast age range)
5. How did you get into working online?

I'll start
1. I've been working online just about 4 1/2 years now (I think)
2. This is my full-time job, and I love the freedom that goes with being my own boss!
3. I'm in upstate NY
4. I'm 34 (but rarely give that out, I've counted backwards on my b'day cake since 30)
5. I started working online because I wanted to bring money in and not have to work for anyone else. I'm a mom of 2 young girls and I wanted to be able to stay home to be with them and also wanted to make my mark in the world. Although I went to college majoring in Public relations/Marketing and knew NOTHING about computers I just took it a step at a time, and learned every aspect of the business along the way. I currently have over 50 websites and a bunch of clients I do website and design work for on top of it. Never thought my business would grow this big this quickly, but I guess it shows you, you truly can do anything you put your mind to!

Who's next? Idea

I've used godaddy when I started out in this business. Then upgraded to one of their vitrtual servers both ran on plesk. Now I have my own server through Servint that has cpanel that I love. Amazing Customer service there. They always fix any issues I've had like upgraded certain features etc. within an hour!

What do you all use?

I personally don't ever care about Alexa rankings, I find them highly flawed, but I went there today to avoid other work, and it says 80% of users here come from Australia? Is anyone here from there that I don't know of? Just thought it was a little odd. Lol2

  Best free forum software?

Ok, so I know 'you get what you pay for' but there has to be some decent free forum software out there? I personally love my cute little cow I made for this forum, but I can make him anywhere. What do you all think if the best free forum software? This is my first time using myBB and I think its the template I chose but its very buggy. I'm constantly fixing issues, and still finding more. On top of that there seem to be very few new plugins/templates made anymore for myBB so I'm open to new ideas.

Question Are you a coder?

Personally I'm no coder at all. I can read code, but thats about it, and that only happened because I've been doing this for almost 4 years. I think it shows though that even a non-coder can edit phpcow templates with the right knowledge. Just thought this may be an interesting poll.

Sad Support

I know asking support on their end doesn't help and their manual has alot to be desired. They need to make it more in tuned to people that do not know much about programming, like me. I am about ready to pack it in and say the heck with it. I can't seem to figure out how to get my articles into the right spot and do a RSS feed.
