Hi guys,

After creating category, subcategory, I want to add an article on subcategory. How to do it? When I create an article, in the Category section, it does not show subcategory. I do not know how to do.

When you created the subcategory, did you rebuild the menu and then save?

I didn't know if this is possible. I've never gone to sub-categories with my articles. Do you really have this option to add an article under a sub-category? I thought perhaps in the admin atleast you could only do it to a category, and perhaps you would have to add a custom block or something to add it to a subcategory? Hopefully Capper is around to help me out on this one?

Yes, I sticked it then save but...

If you look at my site (http://hardwarelogic.com), some entries on the menu go directly to sub cat pages, some are external links, and some have categories underneath them (Reviews)....is that what you want?

To do that all you have to do is change the parent category from "TOP" to the categeory you want the sub-category under......so for me it was "Reviews", which gave me the extra list in the drop down

I fixed the issue. First, you have to click Manage Categories--->Add New Category, in Category section, choose the parent Category you want to display. Done.

Believe me whatever we know we picked from there ... yes we patiently spent a month going through each and every detail.

I do not know why sometime it is very strange. Everything lost, articles, categories...I had to reinstall multi time .
