how do u put in podcast. i found my favorite author does a online radio show and has pod cast. i would like to put some of his talks on my website.
I've personally never done a podcast, I wonder if perhaps it would work the same as embedding video? Create a new function and insert the code there then pull the function onto your template? Have you tried that to see if it works?

Since a podcast is a recorded audio (mostly mp3), you need to have the audio file and then use a podcast service to "podcast it"

You can search on Google about podcast hosting. Services are both free and paid, choose the one you like.

The company you choose will give you the codes for embedding the player on your site. Create a new function with the code and you are done Smile

Exclamation Be aware that if you are planning to use an audio file (podcast) from another person you need to have the rights to re broadcast that file Exclamation
Hopefully, once the new editor is implemnted, they will use the full menu, which allows embedding all kinds of media into articles.

As it is right now, i don't think you can do that with PHPCOW........but if you are open to spending a little money, VBulletin has PODCAST features....which you could then embed into your PHPCOW site by way of a hyperlink or navbar menu.
I guess it can be done much simply by just passing the mp3 to a player and then including the player in article template. All file upload handled through ftp. Check the player right at the bottom :
