just curious, how do you guys determine advertising rates on your sites? For some of my more automated websites I charge alot less. For my phpcow website I tend to run day to day stuff and it is a local niche but I still underprice myself I think...although that was kind of on purpose. I wanted to offer mom and pop type smaller businesses a place to be able to advertise their local owned store/businesses. The reality is these physical type businesses that I advertise know nothing, nor care anything about PR, traffic of course always plays into it but its not like a typical internet business. What do you all do?

I have never done well with paid advertising and trying to be a salesman.

I've found it's easier to just run google adsense and let google do the work for me.

I agree it is hard to get paid advertisers. Its my next big hoop to jump through and figure out too. Although I love my adsense, it would be nice to have more real advertisers too.

I am excited that I have FINALLY started to get higher priced paid advertisers approaching my site...the downfall, being I accidentally crashed my site right after being approached by a new one LOL Hey, life happens I guess. Hopefully he still wants the ad
