I used to make about $140-150 a month....its dropped to about $90-100 a month....but if you sell merchandise, I'd also consider adding Pricegrabber to your site......it can generate some extra cash.

I have never used free forum software.

I have always paid for vBulletin for any forums that I started or have helped to admin.
