Full Version: How to Open the Windows Registry Editor

To edit the Windows registry, you will need to open Regedit, the Windows Registry Editor. Be sure to read the warnings below before using this procedure. The Windows Registry Editor is available in Windows 95 and Windows 98.
If you want to open registry editor then you can open this by type "regedit" in Run menu. But registry is the core part of the system so try to don't change any of the key of their for more convenient work. Actually all the keys of the softwares lies there so never edit them.
Here are steps for opening the Windows Registry Editor :
Click the Start menu.
Click Run.
Type "regedit" and click OK.
I know about it very well. But I think that All are unaware about the back up all the file. I want to say that Before making any changes in the registry , Take all back up file with the cfgback.exe (Windows 95) or scanreg.exe (Windows 98) program. I hope that It would be more helpful.
