I actually received a telephone call today from a Project Manager with PHPCow. We had an excellent conversation. Check out the new pricing for MyWEB.

Thats pretty cool to get an actual call. Did you decide to go with it now?

I'll have to say that the price drop has made this software much more affordable. I also learned that during the next 7 days or so, you have have the ability to add html widgets. I finally spoke with a real live person at PHPCow; one that was very courteous, responsive and committed to a providing a positive customer experience. This experience will have a postivie influence on my decision to whether or not to choose MYWEB.

By the way, PHPCow is aware that this forum is online.

So glad that you had a great experience with the cow. I'm excited to see what you come up with if you by the MyWeb script as I have yet to see it outside of there demo. Yes, I know they are aware of me, but thanks for the heads up. I'm merely trying to help them ultimately, so I really am not attempting to hide from them though, I actually informed them of this forum days after launch because I know how to climb SERPs quick and knew they'd see us soon enough anyway.
I want to buy this product too , but I have some questions, I tried to call this number :1-866-932-5258
but without success !
So I want to know:
1. if myweb is compatible with UWA (Universal Widget Api) ?
2. the program recognize the visitors network location ( country ) when they open the page first time ?

And finaly I don't understand what "webminister" write "I also learned that during the next 7 days or so, you have have the ability to add html widgets." That means after 7 days you cannot, or the developers working on this and it's not active right now ?
I believe this is a feature that webminister is hoping for and is hoping that this will be possible in the near future, but he'll have to verify that.

Can you help me with a direct phone number, other then this 1-866-932-5258 , I am from Europe and this USA Toll Free number not working for the others.

I have no idea what phone numbers there are. I am not a part of the phpcow owner/developers. Just a user of the script. Perhaps webminister has a different number that he got a hold of them on?
The new feature to allow the admin to add html widgets should be available in the next few days. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I don't know that answers to the two questions that Paolo asked. Regarding the telephone number, I asked for an opportunity to speak with someone in their sales area and I received the call. I didn't call them. I am only aware of the 866 telephone number.

Paolo, tell us about how you plan to use MyWEB.
From whatever i could understand of MyWEB (or similar scripts), it's surely not for weak-hearts. It will at some stage of other (depending on traffic == concurrent sql connections) fail to run on shared hosting specially those lunarpages/dreamhost/bluehost types (as they will be quick to suspend account).

This is more for sites that have their own dedicated machine with just their site or wouldn't mind going in for one. This is just my understanding about MyWEB (or similar scripts).
Agree...

If I do recommend this product to my client, I'll make sure that it's hosted on PHPCow server. I would do this to ensure that there are no problems with installation and set-up. I am currently evaluating Google, NetVibes, PHPCow, Alstrasoft and a custom designed MYWEB type of site.

It's very interesting and exciting!
