hen I bought my cow script I let them install it for me, which seemed to take forever I remember...but of course I was anxious to get it up and running so maybe it wasn't really that long.
No that I've gained my webmaster knowledge and have no issue installing scripts anymore I was wondering how hard phpcow install really would be. Has anyone done there own that knows the answer?
Most common installation pitfalls of PHPCow:
(1) Not uploading in binary mode.
(2) Not chmod'ing commons.php file (basically not reading in between the lines of install.txt file)
This is presuming that there are no server side issues.
So it is a simple install then? Did you do yours?

Must have done at least 10 installations. It's simple really as long as server is not having some crazy setup.
Cheers
Do they give out any documentation when you buy the licnse and decide to install it yourself? I'm about to buy another license for a client and was hoping that I could install it myself...IF they have good documentation on how to do it.
Installation is very easy if you just follow the text file that comes with the download. Just three or four points to follow and rest is all easy.
Very cool! I was hoping you'd say that. I am about to buy another license for a different site. Although, I'm a little hesitant though to buy now or wait until the new version is finally availble.
Hello everyone, i got some few questions if somebody would help me out!
I just got PHPCow and i really don't know how to upload it properly to the server, i'm using FileZilla to do that. All i know is, the Binary upload, chmod on the common.php file
that's it! Where do i exactly have to put it on the server?
Can somebody guide me through that?
?
Thank you!
