how can i import news with photo from rss at phpcow?

please help me.

I sent you a PM already with this answer, but incase anyone else has this issue I thought I'd post it on the board too!

I had this problem starting out too. The solution I've found is because the way it is currently set up to pull RSS feeds, it doesn't pull those with seperate tags.
Therefore, to solve the problem, go into where you set up the RSS feed, under the Article Description, change your "text length" to an insanely long number (mine is at 120000) this will force the feed to keep looking further for the image and your image should appear.

Let me know if this doesn't work or if you have any other questions!

So what rss feed is it exactly that you are trying to use? Are you sure it even has an image in the feed to be displayed?

Please give me an example with rss with image to test on my website.
I can give you my admin password to make some tests for 2-3 minutes and put one rss with image and news please ?

But is one more problem. How can I put rss of whole or entire news?

The real problem is... my phpcow can import rss with images just from yahoo like http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories but if i import another rss from romania (country i live) like http://www.antena3.ro/rssgen/antena3.xml http://www.antena3.ro/rssgen/a3_romania.xml http://www.antena3.ro/rssgen/a3_politica.xml of another news websites rss...they don't import images !!!

The difference betwen yahoo and romanian news websites is that romanian websites export rss images with Media files

Please ! Make the differents between yahoo and romanian news rss going in Mozilla and see http://www.antena3.ro/rssgen/a3_politica.xml and after that http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories . Can you see the difference? I need my rss import media files ...

I would submit a ticket to phpcow to see if they have figured out a new method to capture those types of feeds. Unfortunately I don't have a soultion, it is the script that I have no control over. Sorry!
